Following pre-school and kindergarten,Valley Christian School offers elementary education including grades one through five. Students then progress to middle school and high school classes.
With a student/teacher ratio of 11:1, Valley’s Elementary School is the cornerstone to preparing students academically and spiritually for their future school years. With a traditional emphasis on the basic academic disciplines, students are also offered Music (vocal and instrumental), Art, Physical Education and Bible.
Our elementary grades use the Spalding method of teaching writing and reading, and Saxon for the mathematics curriculum. Typically, our teachers use Saxon one level higher than their grade level. Students also receive enrichment classes taught by specialists in physical education, art, and music.
